RETURN TO PLAY GUIDELINES

*If you have travel plans to or from anywhere that has been designated by the Governor as a 14-day quarantine upon your return home, we ask that you follow the Governor’s orders and quarantine for 14-days. Please inform your manager of your travel plans.
The 36 states that require a 14-day quarantine are:

FACILITY GUIDELINES
- Signs, tapes, and/or physical barriers to be used to remind and encourage social distancing. The league has signs on order.
- Individuals should remain 6 feet apart when possible.
- This includes volunteers, athletes, spectators, and any member of the media.
- Coaching staff, volunteers, parents and children should wear cloth face coverings while entering and leaving facilities when social distancing cannot be maintained.
- Participants are encouraged to wear when not engaged in activity
- The league will create staggered schedules to avoid large crowds coming and going from each game.
- Limit sharing of equipment. Use sanitizing agent to clean any shared equipment during and after practice.
- Prior to start of game or practice
- Make sure hand sanitizer is available to all participants.
- Have a couple extra masks available
- Open the bathroom and make sure soap, hand sanitizer and cleaning agents are available.
BATHROOMS
- Please have your children use the bathroom before attending practice or a game.
- Consider using the bathroom for emergency situations only.
- Wear a cloth face covering into any league/public bathroom
- After using the bathroom, please wash hands and use Hand Sanitizer
- Please use cleaner on the bathroom before you exit.
PRACTICES AND GAME GUIDELINES
- Parents are to check the child's temperature prior to arriving at Practice. If the child shows signs of COVID-19 or any other illness, they should stay at home.
- If anyone in your household is ill with COVID-19, or child has been in close contact with anyone who is ill with COVID-19 please keep the child home.
- Parents should drop the child at the entry gate and watch from the designated areas.
- Cloth face covering for players is optional, due to heat and respiratory factors coaching staff will not enforce usage.
- Upon entry to the field, each participant should use hand sanitizer.
- Each Player must bring their own equipment (Bat, Glove, Helmet, Softball Mask, Water Bottle)
- Coaches will provide balls for practice and games
- Manager and Coaches should send any child home that is showing signs of any illness.
- If any child feels sick, they should inform the coaches and be sent home from the practice.
- Limit practice activities to those not involving person to person contact. Focus on Individual skill building
- When players are not engaged in activity, Coaches and Team Supervisors should ensure children are adhering to these guidelines.
- Participants should use hand sanitizer regularly during practice.
- No spitting, seeds, or gum chewing
- No pre or post game handshakes.
- No pre-game ground rules umpire meetings
VOLUNTEER GUIDELINES
- COACHES
- Actively encourage sick staff, families, and players to stay home.
- Should wear cloth face covering when social distancing cannot be maintained.
- TEAM SUPERVISORS
- Actively encourage sick staff, families, and players to stay home.
- Should wear cloth face covering when social distancing cannot be maintained.
- Manage sideline and ensure players maintain 6 feet apart, in designated areas
- For Tball, Farm, and Rookie make sure participants return to their family in-between innings.
- Remind team to use hand sanitizer when they return from field and when they leave for field
- Remind parents to spread out along the outfield and maintain 6 feet between families.
- PARENTS
- Take your child’s temperature prior to arriving at a game or practice. If the child has a fever, please stay home and consult medical professionals.
- If a child is ill with COVID-19 symptoms or another illness, please keep the child home.
- If anyone in your household is ill with COVID-19, or child has been in close contact with anyone who is ill with COVID please keep the child home
- Ensure your child has hand sanitizer, cloth face covering, water bottle and any equipment necessary with them when they arrive at games or practices.
